Barrio Collective took over a section of Prospect Park and setup a community oriented event full of music, food, creativity and friends. We wanted to create a space for people to get together with enough room to socially distance.

Picnic Feria

Salsa al Parque featured a picnic style artist market. Prints, bags, T-shirts, beauty products and more. We open up the space for new projects who still haven't had the opportunity to participate in other market events. Vendors are not charged a fee but are encouraged to donate an item to put into the Barrio Collective bag, which is raffled at the end of the event.
Salsa al Parque

Vinyl Djs played salsa records from the 70's and 80's and Today.
Our friends from los Herederos brought their Sonicycle sound system and made audio captures of the event, talking to participants and organizers.
The Kids Art Gallery

Francia organized art activities for the kids with the help of fellow community artists. Kids were encouraged to express themselves through creativity and paint.
